The sprawling beer garden at this European-style beer hall is perfect for when you want to get lost in the crowd. Despite its dimensions, the beer garden overflows at weekends, especially when live bands and DJs kick in at 3pm on Sundays. The speciality, obviously, is beer. Stella Artois, Leffe and Belle-Vue Kriek are on tap and there are hundreds of bottled varieties. There's also a wine list with 50-odd choices and the usual spirits. Brew-friendly meals are available in the beer hall, while outside, a barbecue bar serves up hot dogs, frites and grilled calamari. Don't leave without sampling a Belgian mussel pot.
The city's biggest and most bustling beer garden is also one of its best, with lashings of imported beer and a barbecue bar.
