Bistro Vue Article Lead - narrow

Utilising the space that formerly housed Vue de Monde, Bistro Vue's bar is a charming, lively space with flattering lighting and a good line in Parisian bar drag - a zinc bar top, an enormous Mon Oncle poster, wall lamps, occasional live accordion music - that never quite topples into theme-park territory. Good drinks made by attentive bartenders help, as does the French slant to both the wine and cocktail lists (the Kir Normand is an intriguing mix of Chambord and cider). There's also Kronenbourg on tap (among others) and quality on-theme bar snacks like steak tartare, garlic snails and pissaladiere.
