Bitton Gourmet

French$$

Bitton is known locally as the cafe where a mother with small kids can actually drink her (excellent) coffee, since there's an entire room devoted to toys where your little angels can play. It's a parent's dream, particularly now it has a liquor licence. Enjoy a bottle of David Bitton's carefully curated wine over dinner while the kids tear into crumbed fish with mash and peas or spag bol. Parents can linger over caramelised eggplant salad with nutty chickpeas or beautifully crisp barramundi on asparagus and pea risotto. There's also a small range of produce, including sauces and jams, and the one-pan bacon and eggs for brekkie is much loved.
