This neighbourhood eatery on a busy road into Trinity Beach might compete with nearby beachfront glam but the heavenly smells emanating from it always make it difficult to pass by. The menu traverses the globe. Barramundi spring rolls are offered as an entree or main, it would take a hearty appetite to opt for the latter. Pair with one of the more than 70 varieties of beer on offer or tuck into a generous massaman beef curry; perfectly spiced for some but chilli addicts might need to request an extra dose. Look beyond Asian flavours for something more classic; beef fillet medallions with chicken liver pate, pumpkin mash and red wine jus, topped off with big, juicy garlic prawns for those who love a bit of surf with their turf. End dinner on a high note with a sticky ginger pudding; sweet, spicy velvety bliss. Blue Moon certainly doesn't pretend to be an aria (or an Aria) but rather a pleasant and rather familiar tune that you'll find yourself humming along to with a smile on your face.
