Under-promise, over-deliver. Breakfast & Beer offers so much more than its name suggests. Fine food, knowledgeable staff and an almighty library of local and international ales, stouts, lagers and ciders are just the start. Breakfast is superb. Sit next to the fire and enjoy roasted Cumberland sausage with creamy white polenta and tangy peperonata, or stir-fried sambal tofu with coconut rice, shallots and coriander. Lunch might be wild-shot bunny ragu and tender gnocchi with a crisp cider, and a hot Belgian chocolate chai by way of dessert. Dinner pushes the budget, so navigate carefully.
