Blondie, Paul Kelly and AC/Diners Club, bang out tunes while the Brewhouse brand of beer gets ferried from bar to dining room en masse. Expect lively pub-style surrounds and menu to match; mighty racks of beer-infused, fall-apart barbecue pork ribs, or steak from the grill given a helping hand to tender, courtesy of chef Andrew McCabe's dark ale marinade. A large portion of the menu is given beery accents; garlic three-cheese pizza with tortilla base comes with dark ale-infused caramelised onion, or Brewhouse's pie of the day, fittingly accompanied by beer-battered chips. Side salads couldn't be more spritely, and are a world away from mundane with additions of mango, snowpeas and tendrils. Blackboard special desserts don't escape a lashing of brew either, and when talking 'stout-infused brownie' the concept works well. There are plans for dining room and beer garden renovations so put Brewhouse on your radar as one to watch.
