A concrete space done up with booth seats, neon signs, vintage motoring ads and industrial lights; this is American Pickers chic, and there’s food to match. Dishes with a southern twang, such as deep-fried chicken, and sticky Mississippi-style green beans, pan-fried with bacon and onion, sit alongside the likes of New York buffalo wings. The New York-cut steak is one of several mains that bust the budget completely, but with hand-cut chips, onion rings and coleslaw, this dish, plus a couple of starters should hit the spot shared between two. This food calls for sharing, anyway. How else will you manage that brownie to end?
