Don't expect iconic vistas with your lunch and there'll be no disappointment at this pub that works its gentlemen's sports club vibe to the max, with trophies in the main bar and 1930s armchairs around the fireplace. It's hard to argue with a 250-gram rump steak plus sides for $9 (a daily lunch and all-day Saturday and Sunday special). No hint of the fine diner operating here last year remains, just typical suburban bistro fare. Nothing jars and the schnitzel is all you want it to be - crisp and moist, and reassuringly not what the dietician ordered.
