Despite the new name (formerly Chashar Bliss), the exposed red-brick walls and soft lighting exude a familiar, homely warmth. The menu, though, reads like a gap year holiday, swinging from the Middle East to South America. Thankfully dishes stay true to their origins, such as well-spiced Thai chicken red curry served in rustic clayware, or twice-cooked lamb shank that flakes off the bone into a rich mushroom-infused jus. At night prices can inch above budget but the portions are generous. Breakfast offerings are vast and include half-serves for kids.
