Cafe Mint

Middle Eastern$$

From a breakfast cous cous with yoghurt, poached fruit and pistachio through to a fattoush salad with sheep's feta and culminating in seared marinated lamb with pomegranate potato and sage gratin, you could breakfast, lunch and dine at cosy Cafe Mint without ever leaving your lazy seat. Full-bodied Mediterranean flavours with good coffee, Turkish apple tea and great wine make for very hearty eating. Keep an eye out for Mint's wondrous sweet things, such as the lemon and yoghurt cake with mango mascarpone or their seriously sticky Syrian nougat. This is relaxed, low-key dining in a suburb gone mad with fuss. And they serve rosewater lassis to boot!
