Steakhouse$$$

A late-week riverside lunch table at Cha Cha Char with a premium bottle of wine is one of the definitions of success in Brisbane's business world. Which is not to say that the restaurant doesn't play host to plenty of tables of couples or groups of friends too. While it might be a steakhouse, the deceptively simple menu over-delivers with flavour-packed dishes that surprise in their depth and complexity. Lemon snow cuts through the richness of seared scallops and tender pork belly, while dried, chilli-infused lychees add depth to a green curry wagyu. Full disclosure is a feature of the steak menu with no questions as to origin, age, breed or feed left to chance with a wide range of sizes to accommodate all levels of steak appetite. Not a beef eater? There's still plenty of choice on the menu. The highly efficient and professional wait staff are well versed in the comprehensive wine list.
