Chester White Cured Diner

Italian$$

It took a nanosecond for Chester White to make Potts Point its own. It’s run by the Buffalo Dining guys, and they’ve nailed the essentials: affordable, quaffable wine, tasty tidbits to nibble and a jazzy, bluesy, country soundtrack that commands attention. The reno of this tiny cottage is wicked. The white bar’s the place to be but there’s also a few tables out front. Wrench a fork off the knife magnet mounted on the wall and tuck into a charcuterie plate (lonza, culatello… ask what’s good) and share the rest: prawn and scallop ceviche and beetroot-cured ocean trout, vego polpette and tiny tubs of homemade tiramisu.
