Chinese Noodle Restaurant

Chinese

Not to be confused with similarly named neighbouring restaurants, this teeny Chinatown nook pumps out super-sized serves of handmade noodles at record speed. But noodles aren’t the only attraction; dumplings come every which way, be it boiled, pan-fried, steamed or soupy, and the pancakes and special braised eggplant alone justify a visit. A window into the kitchen gives a glimpse of the action, seemingly relaxed compared to the hustle of the dining area. Expect to bump elbows with your neighbour and be serenaded with the owner’s violin – it’s all part of the charm.
