Warning: $30-worth should satisfy but won’t stop you wanting more. It’s hard to resist Roman-style pizza when it’s there on display, all crunchy-thick based and vibrantly topped (with zucchini, ricotta and mint, perhaps). House-made gelato is a little more hidden, but the tiny sign spruiking ‘passionfruit pavlova’ flavour is temptation enough - and then there’s the ceaseless superlatives doing the rounds for Cipro’s flourless chocolate cake. Also irresistible: piping-hot mini arancini and share-friendly mains such as wood-fired chilli-and-pepper marinated chicken with salad of sweet cherry tomatoes, bread and herbs. At the helm of this smart-casual spot are two former Rockpool chefs.
