Mediterranean

What a happy place. The word for the day is 'caring', the menu is called Good Honest Food, the rustic, painted-wood share tables are chockers, and there's a wall papered with 'customer feedback thingos'. (Q: What attracted you to us originally? A: Good Cafe Guide). Here's some customer feedback from us: Umami's piccolo latte ($3) was dreamy, and the Scandi-style smoked salmon Ryvita with labne and cucumber went down a treat. Poached eggs are awesome, especially on Brasserie Bread's grainy toast, topped with microplane-grated parmigiano or pecorino. (Q: What could we do better? A: Not much at all). Those long rustic share tables are in big demand for Clover's awesome baked breakfast hotpots and cracking Coffee Alchemy caffe lattes.
