Crocodile Senior Thai

Thai$$

The quirky name mightn’t seem relevant to the restaurant’s Thai street-food focus, but the high volume fits the bill. With buses rumbling by outside and MTV blasting from a flat screen inside, noise levels are set to ‘Bangkok blare’. Embrace it, or distract yourself from it with a little help from a zesty white fungus salad with minced chicken and prawns, or home-style Thai sausages served with chilli sauce. Easy favourites – noodles, curries, stir-fries – feature, too, but the chilli-basil duck merits an honourable mention; tender meat and just the right amount of heat.
