Cheerful, knowledgeable service will guide you through an impressive blackboard menu and a small, sharp wine list. The owners' stint running bars in Edinburgh comes through in both the wide-ranging whisky selection and the hand-drawn map with England marked as 'not Scotland anymore'. Before you know it, you'll be feeling like a local, even if you're from across town.
