Curve Bar's primary purpose is to feed and water those attending shows at the Arts Centre but a stunning outdoor area framed by the NGV, Arts Centre and city skyline helps it transcend its brief. Staff are expert in getting you to your show on time, but even if you're not in a rush, Curve Bar is a reprieve from the busy arts precinct. The drinks carte is diverse and discerning. The wine list favours Victorian labels but is peppered with European imports and there's a wide selection of beers. But the focus is on martinis just as you like them: wet, dry, naked or dirty. If you're lucky, you might catch the cast and crew carousing after a curtain call.
