In the food-court wasteland west of William Street, Dancing Goat is a coffee oasis. From a nondescript shopfront facing Little Lonsdale Street, barista Jesse Hyde pumps out considered and well-made shots using quality beans from high-end roaster Seven Seeds. An espresso ($3.20) has a light, strawberry tartness at its front and a mild, round finish. Celeste Passmore's simple menu includes a mix of fruit toasts and various panini; the apple and strawberry muffins ($3.80) are fresh out of the oven and delicious.
