Delhi ‘O’ Delhi

Indian$$

We think the ‘O’ is pronounced ‘ooh’, as in ‘ooh, what a smart, airy room’, and ‘ooh, what lovely service’, and ‘ooh, what diverse flavours and surprisingly elegant fare’. To go with the oohs are aahs such as the starter of akhrot ke kebab - walnut-potato patties with cumin, ginger and chaat masala. Mains prompt further exclamations, whether the order is for goat methi (curry) or lamb shoulder simmered with cardamom in pistachio and yoghurt sauce. There are a tonne of vegetarian options, and the tomato kulfi dessert might just be the best dish on the entire menu. Share it? Ooh, no.
