Tapas

Delivino, in the local end of town, is as much a breath of fresh air in the tourist-fuelled mountain resort as the mountain air is itself. It's business up the front with a Delivino's shopfront stocked with local and globally sourced ingredients, many of which are used in the restaurant itself. Dining happens behind, inside or on a deck with a view across the mountaintops to the coast. The generously portioned toasted Turkish sandwiches are a clear favourite, piled high with combinations including steak, mushroom and sweet onion jam or chargrilled vegetables, haloumi and pesto. For something more adventurous, try the dukkah-crusted pork fillet resting on a bed of sweet pear salad with plum and ginger dressing. There's a very fine selection of well-made tapas from light (Spanish sausage, onion compote and fennel toast) to more substantial (steamed mussels with white wine, tomatoes and garlic). Delivino is a calming spot to breathe in the atmosphere of the mountain community and enjoy something a little out of the ordinary.
