Bean boffins, perched at the high tables that dot Don Campos' industrial-edged space, have come not so much to drink but to worship (or at least sip with great admiration). And understandably so; this is the flagship store for Campos Coffee in all its old and new forms. A buttery Superior Blend long black ($3.60) is taken to new heights by focused staff and the trusty La Marzocco. Then it's into overdrive with a filter-style Clever Dripper ($5) that is rich, nutty and near perfect. Ready-made, refrigerated baguettes play walk-on rolls here, as it's all about the coffee - from pour-over to espresso made from a Cup of Excellence single origin.
