It's a laid-back little shopfront cafe with gig posters as wallpaper, stuffed toys as decor and an open, all-in-together kitchen and coffee window as its hearth. A Campos Dark City blend piccolo ($2.99) is whipped into such a creamy emulsion it could well be addictive. Apart from Black Star pastries, food is simple and put together on the spot, from a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to poached quince and quark.
