An Irish pub not only in that it serves Kilkenny and is staffed by Irish, Durty's also specialises in the kind of pub grub - and atmosphere - you might expect to find in a Temple Bar back alley. The shepherd's pie is accompanied by a delicious slice of soda bread, while the bangers and mash teams creamy potato with juicy, full-flavoured snags, the likes of which you won't find in a supermarket. The dining area is tiny, but with a full restaurant attached to the pub upstairs, this is a place to quickly grab a bite, not the venue for a romantic night out.
