Duy Linh

Vegetarian/Vegan$$

Vegetarian food is an integral part of life in Vietnam so there's a genuine effort to make vegetarian food that tastes and looks good. At Duy Linh, there are more than 110 dishes on the menu, many that are adaptations of classic meat dishes; Vietnamese standards such as pho, rice-paper rolls and Chinese favourites such as hai nam chicken and egg noodle soup. Mock meat may not appeal to true vegie fanatics (the soy mock duck is strikingly duck-like in appearance, taste and texture, but basically all faux-meat and rice). Go for the sour soup with vermicelli noodles and a marvellous myriad of different fruit, vegies and herbs, including pineapple, tomato, basil and squishy okra.
