Easy Tiger might look restrained with its pared-back, Scandi coolness and casual communal table, but the menu's another story. It's a wild celebration of modern Thai flavours, from the flower tea that greets you on arrival to the hot-sweet-salty-sour rock candy that comes with your bill at the end. In between, there are things like betel leaf with tea-smoked scallop, threads of fresh coconut and chips of peanut, and a whole soft-shell crab fried crisp and served on house-made sriracha with fresh lime - the flavours zip around your mouth like they're stuck on fast-forward. Firm fish dumplings sit in a heady, sour orange curry with greenery courtesy of snappy snake beans and a mop of cress, while coconut-braised wagyu beef shin is lush and rich, offset by pickled cucumber. Coconut jelly with lychee and spears of fresh mango is the perfect, cooling sign-off. Service is friendly, accommodating and so welcoming you can't wait to return.
