Fifth Element Bar & Dining

Cnr Tribune & Little Stanley Streets, South Bank, QLD

Fifth Element Bar & Dining Article Lead - narrow

Innovative menus, a winning wine list and impressive service are what's on offer at Fifth Element in South Bank. Expect assistance with pairing your meal and wine - the personable wait staff boast some expertise. From tastes through to bottles of domestic and international drops, there's something for the Amateur and aficionado alike. The food doesn't disappoint either with a selection of tapas for grazing or more substantial meals. The tempura crab with strawberry sorbet might sound an unlikely pairing but somehow the contrast of crunchy, salty, soft and sweet just works, while baked scallops in the half shell with miso butter are sweet and tender. The duo of duck comes recommended with good reason, morsels of meat lightly falling off the bone and partnered perfectly with carrot, beetroot and jus gras. Finish off duelling forks over a shared dessert assiette.
