Vibrant piles of peppers, feathery fennel and emerald zucchinis lead you to the cafe and the sunny town square vista beyond. The kitchen relies on exceptional ingredients (many of which come from the family’s Hunter Valley farm). Favourites include antipasti: 24-month-old aged prosciutto, bruschetta and handsome balls of buffalo mozzarella. The most budget-friendly options are knockout pizzas that magically straddle that chewy-crispy fence.
