Easy to feel privileged, too, when the baker is there cutting out croissants and baking slabs of margherita pizza in front of you. Expect a short wait on weekends for a Genovese espresso ($3) at the small marble bar, and choose a plump bomba de crema as the perfect foil for its chocolate and cherry notes. Its all-day nature makes this place a favourite for business as well as pleasure.
