No time for horse puns? Let’s talk about the food, the coffee and the cute, cool space (that opens on to a cute, cool design shop). Locals in the know trot in (oops) to the tiny former garage for excellent takeaway coffee, or pull up a crate for a swiftly served meal. The food is locally sourced and lovingly prepared - at weekends, hearty corned beef, potato and pea hash is a must-try, as is goat’s cheese swirled pork (pulled and chorizo) and beans. The service is helpful and happy, as you might expect from people working within sniffing distance of some of the best brownies in the South.
