Goshen

Korean$$

Step inside Goshen, all dark wood, olive green walls and daintily stencilled butterflies. Scan the menu (with filmic subtitles) and get ready for flavour, flavour, flavour- and no MSG. Start with prawns twirled in a nest of potato noodles, or a silky slab of tofu doused in tangy dressing, before ramping up to a spicy, sizzling kimchi pancake. Seafood hotpot arrives steaming, stirred gently by your waiter to release a sticky underbelly of spicy rice. There's a whole page of vegetarian dishes (glass-clear sweet potato noodles and dainty dumplings are winners). Chilli features heavily in some dishes, so ask for suggestions if it's not your thing. Bookings advised.
