Horse and Jockey Hotel

This local has had a recent makeover, and the rear beer garden is a lovely landscaped, sunny space with plenty of shaded tables. It's a great spot for a family gathering, dinner and drinks after work or a lazy weekend afternoon. The service is super friendly, though it's pay inside and pick up your meals on the buzzer. The menu covers the usual pub fare of pastas, burgers, lasagne and juicy steaks, and our lamb cutlets and chicken schnitzel were excellent. There are two massive TV screens to fill any lulls in conversation, with sport and music videos playing non-stop.
