Hotel Mosman

Good Food hat15.5/20

Pub dining$$

Known as The Duck, this pub offers exceptionally good food at unbelievable prices, especially for Mosman. For a slight premium (around $1-$2 a dish), you can enjoy the pub menu in the classy upperduck, the first-floor dining area which feels like an upmarket restaurant: soft lighting, great music, high-backed leather chairs, discreet screens and an outdoor balcony looking onto the leafy gardens of historic Boronia House. A tender steak with potatoes dauphinoise or a hearty pot pie finished with sticky date pudding are just right. Or go cheap with a $7.90 300-gram porterhouse steak, mash and red wine jus.
