Cafe

With its focus on sustainability and local produce Kitchen Kultcha has quickly become a Brunswick favourite. It's all about comfort at this old corner store, with op shop furniture, coffee-stained books and a feel-good menu - think muesli, big eggy breakfasts and bacon-and-egg sangas with relish (house-made of course). Try chive pancakes generously piled with smoked salmon and avocado, or buttery, crisp ricotta pancakes with pistachio ice-cream and raspberry sauce. Service can sometimes be erratic, albeit friendly; kids have their own menu with mini versions of classic milkshakes, cheese toasties and pancakes.
