Aromatic! Tangy! Very Nice!! We dare you not to smile at the enthusiasm this menu exudes, prefacing every dish with an exclamation. Sides, both interesting and varied, work well as starters and given the small-sized mains, should be ordered up big. Accara are felafel-like, made with black beans, their crisp shell and mealy texture a highlight. Sweetly dressed watercress salad - sap sap - is crunchy and good. Saucy mains look a bit samey but ‘mafe’ - cubed lamb, with peanut butter and mild spices - delivers on the menu’s ‘Delicious!’ promise. African ‘flat bread’ is more like crepes, and mops sauces perfectly.
