Lawson Grove Shop

Cafe$$

Sitting pretty among a collection of Art Deco apartment blocks, this laidback cafe doubles as a lounge room for Lawson Grove's residents, who catch up over coffee at the footpath tables, linger over breakfast and newspapers in the dimly lit interior, and pick up prepared meals on their way home from work. A well-pulled Gravity short black is rich with notes of chocolate and nuts. A short and sharp menu features crowd-pleasing BLTs, chipotle-laced scrambled eggs and five-grain porridge with berries and brown sugar, and the home-made orange cupcakes with passionfruit icing have a cult following.
