As veterans of Surry Hills Spice I Am, Let’s Eat Thai’s owner and chef have transplanted the best of that authentic Thai eatery to the inner west. Service might be lacking, but the dishes pop and zing with the fresh, clean flavours you want. Nibble on a curry puff or satay to start, but mains steal the show. The grilled beef in nan tok is deeply flavoursome, with distinct pops of red onion, chilli and herbs. Deep-fried whole fish benefits from being cooked on the bone, and sticky, crisp pork belly with holy basil and chilli is a stand-out. Also in Neutral Bay.
