Squeezed into a row of cafes at the top of Little Collins Street is this project by the Cafenatics crew to bring specialty coffee to the white-collar masses. The Veneziano house blend drips from a custom La Marzocco Mistral into a nice, chocolate-fruity espresso ($3) but goes nowhere near exhausting the caffeination possibilities here. A wall-sized blackboard lists cold-drip, filter and espresso choices from some of Melbourne's finest roasters, which might run all the way up to a $9 pourover of a Colombia Santuario Cup of Excellence #3. Food is the requisite sweet bites. Set-ups for cold-drip, filter and a custom La Marzocco Mistral are bringing specialty coffee to the masses at the business end of Little Collins Street. The beans come from all of Melbourne's best roasters. Naturally.
