Little Henri

Sitting among the second-hand book and furniture dealers of Thornbury, Little Henri with its wall-to-wall brown leather lounges and retro light fittings offers much the same bookish, vintage charm. Coffee-wise, they make a decent drop with a chocolate and red berry Supremo blend from Allpress. A shortage of pastry and cake options when we visited made a full breakfast or lunch the ticket, with the usual egg and burger fare or a selection of piadinas for the slightly more adventurous. Take a turn in the courtyard around neat little rows of pear trees and planter boxes full of herbs.
