Sydneysiders are becoming increasingly ravenous for ramen, which might explain why Manmaruya - where they specialise in the soup - has not one, but three outlets. Choose your suburb, and then choose from more than 20 types of ramen, with chicken broth or the more common pork (there's a kid-sized option, too). The menu does extend beyond ramen, with highlights including smoky aburi, and a particularly good camembert tempura in a delectable miso cream sauce. The cosy, warmly lit Campsie outlet jumps with local families catered to by attentive staff. Also at Ashfield & Hurstville.
