Market Lane

Cafe

Market Lane's Carlton pop-up has brought third wave coffee with its lighter roasts, fruity flavours and single origins right into Melbourne's Italian coffee heartland. The tiny room features a La Marzocco, a pourover station and beans and gear to take home; seating is on a bench near the door, and coffee is the only offer. An espresso of their seasonal blend is light, bright and sweet with a medium body, while a pourover of El Salvador Miravalle has lovely hints of orange and cherry (and comes in a beautiful porcelain cup). There's no food, but Baker D. Chirco is right next door with their coffee-friendly pastries.
