Japanese$$

Locals are well aware of this excellent value-for-money spot, located just off the road on the south side of Tom Ugly's Bridge. The star of the show here is sushi so fresh and masterfully assembled you'll never resort to the food court variety again. Other highlights include deep-fried soft shell crab, beautifully presented and bursting with roe. Keep your eyes on the specials board for delights such as deep-fried eggplant. While the sushi is firmly traditional, there is plenty at Masa to reward the adventurous, such as the infamous maguro natto - raw tuna with fermented soybeans.
