Mexican$$

It’s a marvellous mecca of Mexi-kitsch with doors, walls and even waitresses wearing Frida Kahlo motifs, Day of the Dead murals and some serious lucha libre love. The tacos are authentically soft but flavours hail from the world over, with winning combos such as braised pork belly with pomegranate, spiced cabbage and sesame or crispy chickpea with beetroot, fennel and mint yoghurt. The ‘not to be missed’ fried chicken is just one example of tex-mex at its best. Note: the name gives equal credit to booze – if 80 tequila options don’t shoot your fancy, there are margaritas, ‘cocteles’, sangria and Mexican beers to boot.
