Mitsos Ouzeria Kafe

Greek

This simple blue-and-white corner taverna offers a taste of the Aegean among busy Anzac Parade's popular Indonesian, Malaysian and regional Chinese diners. And just like its Asian neighbours, Mitsos is a place where sharing works best. Work your way through the mezze selection as the metal stands begin to stack up with warm house-made pita, garlicky marinated eggplant and octopus, smoky souvlaki skewers, saganaki prawns, and home-style meatballs and moussaka. The two dining rooms are sparsely decorated (opt for the rear courtyard in warmer weather), but come with a group of friends and you'll find Mitsos a relaxed, hospitable spot for an evening's feasting.
