It's part cafe, part showcase for what Patsy and Edina call 'gorgeous things' - furniture, homewares and gifts designed by Cheryl Bastow. If you have no immediate need for gorgeous things and just want a full-bodied, well-balanced Axil brew, eggs, a ciabatta, corn fritters or fruit toast with orange-zest ricotta, wander out to the charming backyard with its towering lemon-scented gum, brightly striped furniture and cow sculptures. The trickling of the fountain and the old-fashioned tunes make a soothing accompaniment to breakfast.
