Napona

Contemporary$$

A bit of fine dining ‘wow’ goes a long way in these parts, and Napona strikes the right balance between elegance and ease. Large mains and dinners are - straight up - budget breakers, but there is plenty else to invite an inexpensive experience on the gum-shaded timber deck. Breakfast is the least complicated entrance point, with a skilled kitchen focused on the day’s most important meal. Love the house-cured ocean trout with ‘slow egg’ and dill creme fraiche, a match for the Med-feel of chorizo and marinated capsicum frittata with manchego on sourdough. Send kids to the adjacent playground while lingering over coffee.
