Naruone

Korean$$

Tucked away in the lower ground floor of a building in the CBD’s Koreatown, Naruone is a bustling eatery serving up traditional dishes in sleek surrounds. The go-to dish is fried chicken, served six-ways in big piles made for sharing. Thanks to the double fry, it’s easy on the grease and high on the crunch factor. At the other end of the calorific extreme are the rice-based bibimbap served with small portions of mince, shiitake mushrooms, pickled carrot and clusters of radish, and pollack soup, a clear broth with tofu, dried fish and spring onions. Open till the wee hours most nights.
