Neapoli

Tapas$$

There’s something of a boys’ club feel to this all-day-and-night-diner, from the striking oak bar with tan leather stools to the dim upstairs corners fit for covert discussions. The menu reflects owner Con Christopoulous’ (Supper Club, the European) eclectic tastes: build-your-own superfood salads are offered alongside curry, lamb cutlets, fish and chips, home-made pastas and antipasto platters stocked with everything from tempura soft-shell crab (maybe slightly over-battered) to creamy mozzarella. It’s the sort of place that encourages ‘one more drink’, perhaps taken with one of the fine cheeses stored under a 19th-century cloche.
