North Annandale Hotel

13.5/20

Pub dining$$

From the outside the hotel has maintained an art deco charm, with bold lines and sweeping curved glass. Sadly, inside is more reminiscent of a sports bar, but all that glass is great for people watching. At first the menu appears concise, but there are additional meals on display at the counter. The barramundi is served on a bed of freshly steamed vegetables and topped with asparagus spears. The vegetable lasagne is cheesy with the right vegetable to pasta ratio. Buy a bottle of your favourite plonk at the bottle shop ($5 corkage) and settle in to watch Annandale go by.
