North Cafeteria

Contemporary

Rathdowne Village was never that sleepy - the nearby residents just wanted to keep its charms to themselves. It's hard to hide yourself away when there's so much goodness happening in the one spot, though, and this winning eatery is always worth a visit. The menu doesn't seem to have changed in at least five years, but it doesn't need to: a poached egg on a crisp bagel is matched with creamy goat's cheese and salad of rocket and asparagus, while eggs with soldiers suggest a playful bent. Coffee's a velvety affair, packed with bright flavours and a long finish. Just don't go telling everyone.
